White-clay tea bowl decorated with glossy black glaze and a repeating pattern of gold and silver circles. The walls are gently slopping terminating in a straight foot. The perfection of the form and the glaze give a wonderful backdrop to the ‘sun and moon’ pattern of elegantly patined gold and silver decoration. Stamped on the bottom with maker’s seal.
In excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or other signs of use. Approximately 4 ¾” wide, 3” tall.
