Squat ceramic vase in the shape of a jug, with loop handle and braided bands across the middle and around the base. Light colored ceramic body glazed in a dark, rusty burgundy and further decorated with a light cream and brown, highly textured, lava glaze. Marked PAN on bottom and retaining it’s original paper PAN ‘thumbprint’ label. Made in West Germany in the 1960’s.
Approximately 4 ½ inches diameter, 3 ½ inches tall, 2 inches at the mouth. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing, appears unused.
