Porcelain ginger jar lamp with wooden base and cap. The jar is decorated in a dark brown, matte glaze highlighted with splashes of burnt orange and mustard yellow. The decoration has a finish reminiscent of cracked, dry mud- hence the name of the glaze, ‘Earth Wrap’. Manufactured by Haeger potteries in Illinois during the 1970’s. It is pictured in the 1973-1974 lamp catalog. Three-way switch allows for different light levels with the appropriate bulb. Adjustable harp can accommodate a variety of lampshade heights.
Approximately 19 inches tall, 11 inches diameter at widest point.
Condition is very good with no chips, cracks, crazing or other signs of wear. All electrical components are in good working order. There is some wear to the wood finish of the base (see photos.)
