Pressed glass open compote with faceted pedestal and base of concentric rings. The conical bowl of the compote is decorated with bands of vertical ribs on the top and bottom, framing a vertical comet or fan design. The comet tails are further accented by a repeating pattern of half-quatrefoils. Approximately 7 ½ inches tall, 7 ¼ inches at the mouth, 4 ¼ inch at the base. Condition is very good with no chips, fleabiting or cracks. Some scratching, consistent with age and use. The glass is slightly amethyst due to sun exposure.
