Stoneware pitcher with a bulbous form decorated with a single rib, firmly attached handle and a mouth with a flared lip. The piece is glazed with a drippy green spotted with red and finished with a traditional salt glaze. This pitcher is likely from the 1970’s but is emblematic of ceramics that have been made on Corsica for hundreds of years. Marked on the bottom “CP Orezza” as well as the number “50”.

In excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or other signs of wear. Approximately 8 in tall, 5 in wide.
