Exuberant, ceramic, art deco vase in the form shaped like a squared, open cone partially inside of a sphere; like a stylized shuttlecock or exclamation point. The piece is decorated with a black glaze, highlighted by drips of white to caramel.
The vase is the #704 form from the Roseville Ohio firm McCoy Pottery. The bottom is very hard to read, but it is marked “704 USA”
7 ¼ inches high, 3 ¾ inches wide, 3 ¾ inches diameter at the mouth, 3 inches at the base. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or other signs of wear.
