Generously sized tea bowl with ribbed body and short, pedestal foot. White clay body glazed in a honey-brown with a black-to-brown glaze dripping down the sides and coating the interior. The shape of the vessel is interesting, as it was expertly crafted on a wheel and then carefully shaped within the maker’s hands. The bowl has a wonderful hand-feel and its undulating, ribbed form give it an immediate organic appeal. It is signed, but the signature is muddied and unclear.

Approximately 4 inches diameter, 3 ⅝ inches tall, 3 ¼ inches deep. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
