Available through eBay or Etsy.

Ceramic centerpiece pedestal dish with 5 oranges. The base is a compote with an undulating bowl, decorated with a cream glaze molted with specks of cinnamon-brown. The bowl is full of ceramic oranges with lifelike leaves. The piece is reminiscent of Italian Majolica bowls of fruit, but in a very mid-century American taste. The form of the pedestal bowl and glazes used are similar to those seen from Southern California in the 1950’s and 1960’s. I believe that is when and where this piece is originally from.

In very good condition. Some very small chips around the edge of bowl and on one of the oranges (see photos.) No other significant signs of wear. No cracks or crazing. Approximately 10 inches tall, 9 inches by 8 inches wide at the widest point. Base is 3 ¾ inch square.
